#WaterforTimor
In many villages across Timor Tengah Selatan, children and women still walk 1–2 hours every day just to collect water from distant springs. During the long dry season, which can last up to eight months, the situation becomes even more challenging.
Families are forced to use very limited amounts of water for drinking, cooking, and washing, while basic hygiene practices like handwashing with soap become difficult to maintain.
When children do not have enough clean water, their risks of diarrhea, infections, malnutrition, and stunting increase significantly.
We believe no child should lose their future simply because they don’t have access to clean water.
Through ENOUGH, you can help provide safe and reliable clean water access for children and families in South Central Timor.
Families will gain access to water piped directly to their homes. With your support, more than 2,000 people will be freed from the burden of carrying water over long distances, and children will no longer have to miss school just to collect water.
