WVI As an organisation implementing community development programmes in the affected districts, we are responding to the earthquake in Flores by shifting our operational mode to an emergency response.
The aim of this emergency response is to ensure that affected children and families have access to the services and support they need to meet their basic needs, while also ensuring that their protection rights are upheld.
Continue ongoing programme activities, adapting them to the needs of children and families. For example, planning the distribution of food assistance, integrating psychosocial support activities into teaching and learning activities at schools that have begun operating, and providing learning spaces for students and teachers.
The Joint Needs Assessment (JNA) has been completed, and the Joint Market Assessment (JMA) is now underway.
Coordinate with local stakeholders to review initial recovery plans in the affected areas.

Your contribution can make a meaningful difference in creating protection, support, and basic necessities they needs.
