Thousand Elementary School Students Receive Psychosocial Support Training

#GempaAmbon - Through the Back to School campaign, the Maluku Earthquake Emergency Response team of Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) gives psychosocial support for elementary school students in Central Maluku. Training becomes a form of this support.
The activity is occurred to push the teachers and students brave to back to school after the big earthquake happened in Maluku. This training is given by the teachers who had got the training from WVI. Teachers are trained their students with singing and playing together.
Not only that, but various disaster risk reduction activities are also practiced with students. Students are invited to recognize potential disasters and ways to avoid disasters that may occur at any time. In addition, the health promotion of hand-washing with soap is also carried out with children at school.
The activities funded by the Start Fund are carried out in 14 elementary schools in the Central Maluku Regency. At least more than 2,500 children have benefited from this activity.
