Age Requirement: Minimum age of 18 for all programmes (field, office, or events). There is no upper age limit, provided the individual is capable of performing their duties.
Soft Skills: Priority is given to those with strong communication, openness, collaboration, and empathy. WVI highly values a genuine care for children’s issues, social justice, and a willingness to learn.
Documentation: Please prepare a CV highlighting relevant experience, a motivation letter explaining your reasons for joining, and—if applicable—a portfolio or a letter of recommendation (from a non-family member).
References: Applicants must provide contact details for a supervisor, teacher, or professional colleague so that WVI can verify their history of social contribution.
Time Commitment: Office-based volunteers are expected to commit at least 4 hours per day, while event volunteers should commit to at least one shift per day.
The registration process is transparent and accessible from across Indonesia and abroad:
Select a Program: Research programs that match your interests, such as KinCir Social Media (content and online education), KinCir Office (admin, research, and comms), event volunteering, or disaster response.
Complete the Online Form: Visit myvolunteer.wahanavisi.org, select “Get Involved – Volunteer – Register Now,” and fill in your details, experience, and references. Applicants residing abroad will be directed to the World Vision partner in their respective country.

Upload Documents: Ensure your CV, motivation letter, and supporting documents (certificates/portfolios) are neatly organized and uploaded.
Join the "Teman Kincir" Community: Joining this community beforehand helps you familiarize yourself with our activities and connect with other volunteers.
Administrative Screening: The team assesses your documents and time commitment. Successful candidates proceed to the interview stage.
Interviews (HR and Departmental): This stage explores your values and readiness. Expect questions regarding your understanding of children's issues and how you handle challenges.
Skills Assessment: Certain roles, such as education or content creation, may require a short practical test or situational problem-solving assessment.
Orientation and Induction: Successful volunteers undergo mandatory training covering Child Protection, ethics, effective communication, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Placement: Volunteers are assigned based on interest and program needs, whether in the field (urban or rural) or working remotely.
Monitoring and Certification: Each volunteer is supported by a supervisor. Upon completion, active volunteers receive badges, points, and a digital certificate—a valuable asset for future careers in the social and educational sectors.
Be Specific: Show a clear reason for joining, such as a specific concern for children's rights or a desire to build a career in community empowerment.
Relevant CV: Include any previous volunteering, student society roles, or workshops.
Highlight Soft Skills: Emphasise your teamwork, public speaking, or administrative abilities.
