Learn from the Little Things

All parents want their children to have a better life. The most beautiful thing that parents hope for is when they see their child become successful. However, this will not be realized if the parents do not instill good moral and social values ??that will shape a child's identity from an early age.

Investing good values and teaching simple things according to the child's age will make children more confident. Children are increasingly valued in their lives because people heard their voices. When this is done, the children can go through their days with joy. Rosalina (8), the first daughter of Moses Fait and Uria Pufak, felt this.

Rosalina began to get various teachings from her parents, which made her more mature and independent. Especially after the Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) program entered her village.

After the construction of the rainwater reservoir and clean water was carried out by WVI, Rosalina was able to enjoy clean water directly from her house. This facility has even been used by Rosalina's family since March 2020. Since then, a child who is usually called Nona has always helped her parents wash the dishes and even wash her own clothes.

“I like to help Mom wash the dishes. I am happy to help Mom,” she said happily.

Although it looks simple this has been taught by Rosalina's parents from an early age. Her father hopes that Rosalina can be even better.

The father of two children hopes that one day his daughter has a bright future, which is better than her parents.

"I hope she can become a Nun, so that she can pray for us here, and can teach her sibling," hoped Moses.
