Needed - Consultant Baseline PASTI Papua

Wahana Visi Indonesia currently in needed of services of consultancy refers to the Baseline PASTI Papua activites. the outline or summarize of the purpose related to the Baseline itself are further explained below.

Purpose of Baseline

1. Identify situation and acceleration of stunting reduction projected but not limited to goals and outcome indicators stated in PASTI-Papua project. By collecting related information captured in baseline value. It is expected that baseline will help the project to:
   1. Set benchmark/target for 2027;
   2. Validate and strengthen project targeting and approach;
   3. Strengthen project understanding of existing needs/opportunities;
2. Identify sensitive and specific nutrition approaches and local context promising practices that already exist in the community.

Baseline PASTI Papua location/coverage areas : Nabire, Timika, dan Asmat (Papua Tengah)

Within those purpose of the Baseline activites, the qualifications of the consultant are meet of : 

Qualifications of Consultant

• Have at minimum 3 years of prior experience in conducting baseline/research/evaluation in health sector (especially in maternal and child health, stunting, nutrition and health system strengthening) and community engagement;
• The team members should have an advanced degree in public health or other social sciences, extensive knowledge of Indonesia’s health system, experience in conducting studies on stunting and/or nutrition issues, and experience in working with the community.
• Experience in Human-Centered Design Approach
• Extensive knowledge and experience with program design and evaluation, for example, but not limited to, developing logic models, data collection plans, and instruments.
• Expertise in developing and finalizing instruments for the baseline.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis includes statistical methods to determine the results of the baseline.
• Experience in conducting data analysis and writing report
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, orally, and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative communications with WVI.
• Project or program management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a culture of learning and innovation.
• Experienced in conducting research in the land of Papua and have knowledge related to the local context in the land of Papua.
