AT THE START

You’ll receive a welcome pack with your sponsored child’s details, photo and information about their community.

We’ll call you to answer any questions you may have.

Your sponsored child will send you a letter (within ... weeks). We’ll give you tips and hints for writing back.

You’ll get access to My Sponsorship portal – see photos from your sponsored child, send an e-letter, easily update your personal details and view donation receipt.

DURING YOUR SPONSORSHIP

You’ll see photo updates about your sponsored child. We’ll send you an updates so you can see the progress you’re supporting.

How is Wahana Visi Indonesia responsible for donations made through the Child Sponsorship program?

Accountability and transparencity are the basic values of our services. In Indonesia, more than 9,000 sponsors supported Wahana Visi Indonesia through Child Sponsorship Program to help children in need.

Wahana Visi Indonesia conducts

regular audits by internal and also external auditors. As a responsibility, Wahana Visi Indonesia will sends an Annual Report to sponsors.

How long is my sponsorship commitment?

Your sponsorship is an ongoing commitment that helps your sponsored child and their community overcome poverty. As a partner, we really hope you to supporting us according to your heart. However, there are some unavoidable conditions

that cause your relationship with the sponsor child to end, including: closure of the service area, the child has graduated (age limit of 18 years or graduated from high school) or moved with family.

Does my monthly donation go directly to the child or child's family?

Your IDR 200.000,- monthly donation is pooled for maximum effectiveness - meaning sponsored children do not receive funds directly. Your donations are pooled with other child sponsors in the same area and used to meet the greatest needs of your sponsored child's community such as clean water, nourishing food, better healthcare, child protection and education. By sponsoring, you also help keep children safe while getting them ready to participate in shaping their own future.
