Hundreds of NTT's Children Join Celebration of Cleo's Child Ambassador
To support the commitment of the Child Ambassador program in developing talent potential and interest, Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) with PT Sariguna Primatirta as Cleo brand bottled water producer held the Intelligence Peak event theme ‘It’s Time to be Clever’ in June 2019, took place in one of village in East Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.
"This is Cleo's first activity in NTT with Wahana Visi Indonesia to support Child Ambassador program of Cleo. We are pride to be able to hold this Cleo’s Ambassador program in NTT," says Melisa Patricia as Deputy Director of Cleo.
According to Melisa, the activities that were attended by children in the WVI assisted area were expected to have a positive influence on children, so that children could learn to develop themselves.
She added, WVI and PT Sariguna Primatirta shared the same vision in realizing the lives of children who were fully intact. One of them is by developing skills inherent in children so that it becomes the capital for children to be able to survive in the future.
"Wahana Visi Indonesia is the right partner in implementing the Cleo Child Ambassador program. The similarity of the WVI program in East Manggarai, namely the education program, is an added value for Cleo in building partnerships to achieve the 'Time to Be Smart' program," Melisa explains.
The event was attended by more than hundreds of children. The highlight of the event was lively with the performance of a flute by more than 150 children. The flute that was played was one of the forms of support that Cleo provided in supporting this development program of interest and talent. There are also several other performances such as the theater, pantomime, Rangkuk Alu dance, Obela dance, and choir. The children felt very happy because they had the opportunity to be able to express themselves through various performances at the event.
"I feel very grateful and grateful for getting the opportunity to be trained and to be able to channel the talents within me. I just realized that I could play the pantomime and make the audience impressed," says Elsen, one of the children of the pantomime player.
Parents and the community are also involved. Parents and the community were very enthusiastic about watching this event from the beginning to the end. They feel comforted because this activity is the first activity held in their village.
The Cleo Children Ambassador activity was closed with the release of balloons that read 'Thank you Cleo and WVI' and continued with Obela dance as a form of gratitude for the togetherness of children, parents, community, village government, schools, PT Sariguna Primatirta and Wahana Visi Indonesia Area East Manggarai Program in the whole series of events.
