JNE’s Support for COVID-19 Response in Indonesia

In the middle of 2021, the COVID-19 cases rose again in various regions in Indonesia. Various efforts have been made by the government and other parties to overcome the surge in COVID-19 cases. One of them is the emergency response carried out by Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) through the distribution of health assistance to families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the distribution of goods and assistance to many regions, this emergency aid distribution activity was supported by PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir (JNE). JNE assisted the delivery of medical supplies in the form of masks to South Nias, South Bengkulu, and Surabaya. With fast delivery to many areas in the interior of Indonesia, JNE can deliver the assistance needed by families affected by the pandemic quickly.

JNE not only once helped WVI. In response to the tropical cyclone Seroja in East Nusa Tenggara which occurred in April 2021, JNE distributed aid from the Java region to remote areas of NTT affected by the tropical cyclone Seroja.

Mohammad Feriadi Soeprapto, President Director of JNE, said that JNE will help Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) in the distribution of goods so that its coverage area is wider. “JNE continues to try to contribute to utilizing its capabilities to help send various aids to all corners of Indonesia, ranging from medical equipment assistance to participate in the action movement organized by WVI this time. Of course, JNE hopes that the performance carried out and this collaboration can provide benefits and happiness to the community, following the spirit of the Connecting Happiness tagline,” explained Feriadi.
