The Participation of Micro Businessman of WVI at ‘Gemarikan & Lautku Bersih’ Campaign

The bazaar stand for a micro businessman of Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) was ready in the Car Free Day Bundaran HI area. They are three assisted businessman by WVI who support ‘Gemarikan & Lautku Bersih’ campaign who held by Ministry of Marine and Fisheries and IBM CSC (Corporate Service Corps), on Sunday (May, 13rd, 2018).

They brought the product of the sea such as Pempek, Tekwan, fish crackers, and several recycle products. They also used recycle and environmentally-friendly products for packaging, such as paper or reuse bowl.

Siti Aisyah is one of bazaar member and she was enthusiastic to join the campaign activity.

“Praise The Lord that people love our product and buy them a lot. We have sold Pempek and Tekwan for thirty kilos. I am really glad to know that our products saleable,” said her.

Eliyah, another businessman of fish crackers who assisted by WVI recognized that she got the positive differences after joined WVI’s program.

“Praise The Lord. After join WVI, my business becomes a success. Even though, the raw material products are expensive. Today we can sell ten products of the big package and thirty products of the small package,” said her.

The businessman got 4x4 square meters, so they could get more space to sell another product such as Kembang Goyang.

Merry as a Kembang Goyang seller said that she was selling fifty percent of the products. She said that the event would increase the promotion of her products.

“I really Thankful God that WVI still cares for us, even though they already phase out from our area,” said Merry.

The campaign was not only contained of sea products but also several activities such as drawing competition for kids, technology exhibition, and another entertainment event.
