Yayasan Allianz Peduli Contributes to Posyandu Construction in Sikka

Nenbura is a village with four sub-villages in Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. People in this area do not have a good health facility. It has the same condition with another village in eastern Indonesia.

People in Nenbura Village usually do the health assistance activity in five different places. Unfortunately, there is only one permanent building, so that people attending posyandu acitivity by moving from one place to another. Based on the condition, Yayasan Allianz Peduli eager to give a donation for posyandu construction at Nenbura Village.  

The construction has been starting since July 2018. At the end of September 2018, installation of bricks, windowsills, and doors has been completed and then entered into the plaster wall.

This Posyandu building will also function as a place to study for Early Childhood Care and Development/PAUD children. The facilities that will be provided are children's play tools such as swings, slides, and a number of information media such as books, posters for parents so that the waiting time for children is utilized by reading the literature on toddler health.

In addition to physical development, the Allianz Peduli Foundation is also concerned about increasing the capacity of posyandu cadres. Posyandu cadres will be provided with knowledge about 5-Table system training, training in filling in posyandu registers and reporting, and SDIDTK training (Early Childhood Stimulation, Detection, and Intervention).

Currently, there are 32 children (16 boys and 16 girls) enrolled in PAUD Nenbura, while there are 61 children enrolled in posyandu (28 boys and 23 girls), while educators are PAUD is 3 people, who also serves as a posyandu cadre. Training of posyandu cadres and tutors will also involve the closest villages so that the impact of this assistance is also felt in other villages.
