My New Books
#BersamaMelawanCovid19 - Farel, a child in Ende Regency, feels the same situation with other Indonesian children who have to stay at home and do learning at home. The lack of internet access and signal in the village made him difficult to find learning material in the pandemic situation. He misses spending time playing with friends which he can no longer do.
Since getting reading books provided by Wahana Visi Indonesia, Farel now has access to spend time at home.
“I got the book of Covid-19, creativity book and also Bible storybook. I feel glad to have all of those books because I can get much information from it,” said Fared happily.
He said that the pandemic condition made him also to do worship and Sunday School activity from home. By reading the bible storybook, he had been helped to get insight. The book about Covid-19 also gives him information about how to implement a clean and healthy lifestyle.
“I am excited to read all the books so that I can practice the information I got at home. It about how to do handwashing properly and how to prevent the Coronavirus and to remind me to use a mask when doing the activity outside the home,” he added.
Farel admitted that he is happy and benefited. He promises to share the knowledge he got from books to other friends.
