Health Promotion becomes one of a program that been implementing by WVI. Saharudin, a field facilitator of WVI says that this program starts from finding garbage near houses of people. This program aims to introduce waste management through the compost making program.

“By this program, we hope that children could make their own compost at home. They can use anything around them to plan the tree, vegetables, flowers or anything in front of their houses,” Saharudin explains.

Compost is easy to make. Children only have to combine the hay, rice, animal waste, bran and sugar then compost is done. Keep it in a place for five days and it can be used.
