When We Are Involved in School Surveys

Hello, my name is Graciana. I am 11 years old and I come from Ende Regency.

Did you know that my friend and I still don't go to school to this day? Yes, we are still learning from home. We are confused about what happened, as we know we are currently in a Covid-19 pandemic. Fortunately, our teachers explained that it turned out that Covid-19 was dangerous and could be contagious.

Even though we only study at home and rarely speak, we are happy because, in times like this, we can still express our opinions. Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) staff also helped us to discuss and express what we wanted during the pandemic with the school.

We as students are invited to be involved in the 6-month program evaluation activity with the school, parents, village heads, and sub-district heads held by WVI. We were asked how we felt during the pandemic.

The brothers from WVI have accompanied us and our school even though we learn from home. We get various textbooks and snake and ladder games, to keep us from getting bored while studying and playing at home.

We hope to return to study at school because we miss studying with our friends and teachers.
