A dream of Nenbura's villagers (Nenbura village is located in East Nusa Tenggara province) to have a proper building for school is becoming real now. On November 27, 2018, a Holistic Integrative Early Childhood Care and Development (PAUD HI) St. Maria Doreng’s building has established and was inaugurated by the local government of Nenbura Village. This building was intended for student learning activity and integrated-health-post place.

The building took five-month progress. The groundbreaking has started in July 2018, attended by Wahana Visi Indonesia Area Program of Sikka and also the local government of Nenbura village.

This building established by the collaboration of Wahana Visi Indonesia with the local government, Allianz and Gloria Surabaya pre-school. The support funding from all partners was used for increasing the cadres and tutors of PAUD capacity.

“We are thankful to have this facility and we have a chance to learn about posyandu. Tutors and cadres were trained to make learning activity becomes more fun and creative,” said Vitalis Moa, one of PAUD St. Maria Doreng’s manager.

Furthermore, Vitalis Moa told about the changes that occurred after the cadres and tutors were trained.

Gratitude and thankful was also conveyed by one of the Nenbura village PAUD tutors, Katarina Rins Kartini (38 yo). According to her, after a new building was used, children and parents were more enthusiastic about coming to PAUD.

“After we move the activity into a new building, the children become more enthusiastic. There are a lot of learning tools that makes the children happy. We want to give thank for Wahana Visi Indonesia and all the sponsors. With the facility inside the building, I hope this PAUD HI can be more impactful to others,” said Katarina.
