Hanwha Life Indonesia Awarded 6 RPTRA in East Jakarta

Six Child Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) got award as the best RPTRA in East Jakarta. This awards was given to management team of RPTRA by Hanwha Life Indonesia and Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI), Thursday (7/12/2017).

The six of them are RPTRA Cililitan, RPTRA Gebang Sari, RPTRA Mustika, RPTRA Payung Tunas Teratai, RPTRA Pulo Indah and RPTRA Jatinegara. The award was given at RPTRA Jaka Teratai, Pulo Gadung as one of RPTRA which was created by WVI and Hanwha Life Indonesia

By the present of RPTRA in Jakarta, especially in RPTRA Jaka Teratai, CEO of Hanwha Life Indonesia Cho Kook Whan said that he was happy to be involved in supporting the government to create a child friendly space.

“We hope by the availability of this place, children can have more opportunities to express their creativity in the arts, sports and provide access to learning through library books," he said.

National Director of WVI Doseba Tua Sinay said the present of RPTRA needs the multiple commitment from government, private sector and public. He also said continuing the child protection still would be the priority of WVI.

“We are focusing in build the benefit of RPTRA. People are also contribute in build RPTRA. We asked them to join Focus Group Discussion to know what the special priority in the area is and to know what is the culture there,” closed him.

38 RPTRA participate in the assessment. Assessment conducted since January 2017 by the Office of PPAPP (Empowerment of Child Protection and Empowerment of Residents) and PKK (Family Welfare Development).
