JNE Supports Aid Delivery for Wahana Visi Indonesia to NTT Area

Efforts to support residents affected by Seroja Tropical Cyclone in NTT are continuing, one of which is through the collaboration of Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) with PT Tiki Jalur Nugraha Ekakurir or JNE. The packages sent from Jakarta today, Monday (April 12, 2021) include 506 boxes of family hygiene packages and dozens of boxes of medical masks. This package was sent to the WVI office in Timor Tengah Selatan, Alor and the Caritas Diocese office of Larantuka in East Flores by land route to then be distributed to residents in the evacuation camps.

"We are grateful and appreciate JNE for its support in sending this aid. This is very meaningful for the humanitarian work that we are doing and of course, the impact will be felt directly for our brothers in NTT who are currently in dire need of assistance," said Margarettha Siregar, Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs Director WVI.

Eri Palgunadi, JNE's VP of Marketing said, "The collaboration between JNE and WVI has been going on since 2018. The form of collaboration between JNE and WVI starts with the delivery of shoes for children in Flores, books for a reading garden in Wamena, assistance for disaster victims in several areas. location, and currently for our brothers in NTT. Previously, since April 5, 2021, WVI has been directly helping survivors of flash floods, landslides, and strong winds in NTT by distributing clean water to several refugee points in East Sumba, as well as distribution of family packages and packages for children under 2 years. WVI will continue to be present during the emergency response period for the next 3 months with various programs, including providing psychosocial and educational support, restoring economic impacts to strengthening disaster preparedness.
