PT MNG Donates Hazmat Suit for Health Care Workers in Southwest Sumba

#BersamaMelawanCovid19 - The difficulty of getting PPE, especially hazmat suits for health workers in Southwest Sumba (SBD) made Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) move to take an action. Through the WVI SBD Program Area and with the support of PT Mutiara Nusantara Globalindo (MNG), WVI distributed 1,000 hazmat suits to several health facilities in SBD.

Some of these health facilities are the Bila Cenge Public Health Center, Kodi Public Health Center, Waikabubak Regional Hospital, and Karitas Hospital of Waitubala. Each of them receives 250 hazmat suits for health workers handling Covid-19 cases.

Doctor Niko from Karitas Hospital of Waitubala, who was a beneficiary, said that the hospital helped by this donation.

"I would like to thank PT Mutiara Nusantara Globalindo and Wahana Visi Indonesia for the assistance provided. This hazmat suit helps us during this Covid-19 pandemic. Hopefully, with this assistance we can overcome the Covid-19 cases that have occurred in Southwest Sumba Regency," he said.

Until now, WVI continues to help people during the pandemic. Not only distributing PPE to health workers, but WVI also assists schools, parents, and students as well as the community to be able to carry out educational and economic activities to the fullest during the pandemic.
